Quanta Systems Discovery Pico Plus Laser is certainly the forefront in Pico technology dedicated to Fractionated Skin treatments, Benign pigmented lesions and multicolour tattoo removal.
The DISCOVERY PICO Series is the Gold Standard Picosecond laser, especially thanks to its three true laser wavelengths Nd:YAG 1064nm, Nd:YAG 532nm and Ruby 694nm, leading peak power, four pulse emission modes and its unique fractional handpiece for multi-level scar treatments.

Picosecond Effect
The Quanta Systems Discovery Pico Plus Laser Series generates a pure photoacoustic effect to shatter inks and pigmentations leaving the surrounding tissues unharmed. This picosecond laser, thanks to its shorter pulse durations and high peak power can effectively pulverize even the deepest skin pigment.
The ideal ally in skin treatments
The Picosecond pulses represent the real trump card for every patient’s needs. This device conjugates high fragmentation power for very effective treatment of tattoos and pigmentations, to fractional picosecond power for unparalleled results in acne scars and wrinkles treatments.
Multi-level picosecond effect
Discovery PICO’s Fractional treatments take advantage of two different laser actions with the creation of LIOBs for collagen remodelling and the ablation of damaged skin through picosecond “cold” ablation. The synergy between these two effects is the key of the success in full treatment of wrinkles and acne scars.
Optibeam II
The Optibeam II handpieces can generate different flat-top spot shapes at various sizes.
These handpieces are particularly indicated for:
- Square flat-top: tattoo removal
- Round flat-top: benign pigmented lesions
- Fractional handpiece: acne scars and wrinkles.
Twain Handpieces
Twain options are IPL or Er:YAG handpieces that can be attached to the TWAIN connector of the device.

Flat top round and square hand pieces also make it possible to treat all pigment areas – from tattoos to spot lesions – evenly and precisely. The flat top round hand pieces have been designed according to the shape of pigment lesions to make the healing process more natural.

The Quanta Systems Discovery Pico Plus Laser is intended for use in aesthetic, cosmetic and surgical applications requiring incision, excision, ablation, vaporization and coagulation of body soft tissues in the medical specialties of dermatology, general, plastic and oral surgery as follows:
